Philosophy

Music is forever; music should grow and mature with you, following you right on up until you die – Paul Simon

I started taking piano lessons when I was 4 years old. I had amazing teachers from age four until age twenty-four. Teachers who were patient, kind, creative, inspiring, and who I knew believed in me as a pianist, and more importantly, as a person. The belief of the teacher in the student, is the philosophy that The New England Studio of Music embraces. Everyone, young or old, should have a music teacher who believes in him or her.  Each person is special and brings beauty to the world thru their interests and talents. When we make music, we share our unique beauty with those around us. As a teacher, I believe that my students are wonderful people who have much to give to the world through their music.
