Alisa Luciano began her musical career at age four, starting piano lessons at the MacPhail Center for the Performing Arts in Minneapolis, MN. At age six, her family relocated to Massachusetts, where she studied for eleven years at the Sandwich Suzuki School, under the instruction of Geraldine Boles. She holds a BS in Piano Performance, studying in college under Dr. Craig Ralston and continuing her post-degree piano instruction under Svetozar Ivanov at the University of South Florida. She also completed a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Massachusetts, combining her love of music and teaching. Since 2003, Alisa has taught private studio lessons to students ranging in age from four to adults. In addition to teaching piano, Alisa has also tutored and taught in academic settings to elementary, middle, and high school students. She has performed recitals in Massachusetts and Florida. She is currently a church pianist in Massachusetts and enjoys playing for events, parties, and weddings. Alisa loves to work with students and to help develop their musical abilities. Knowing that having wonderful teachers is a major component in successful learning, she is professional, patient, and inspiring.
